Focus on Kids
2% of all children in the US has a parent in prison. This percentage is 7% for African American kids. One factor that directly impacts how well children develop through the arrest, incarceration and finally, the reunification of the family is the regularity of contact with the parent during incarceration.
Family and Friends VIP Shuttle Services have now partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters to help bring children and their incarcerated-parents together. For more information, call Shelby from Big Brothers Big Sisters on: (972) 573-2378
